A flower of the Mallow family found in an unkempt field next to a derelict wooden shack.
Musk Mallow, Malva moschata
I think the leaves are distinctive on this plant, which is not on the local list.

A female Meadow Grasshopper, Chorthippus parallelus, from the same field.

The males have longer wings in order to stridulate.
