I am glad to inform you that International Symposium on Information
Technology in Oceanography (ITO 98) is being organized at NIO, Goa, India
during 12-16 Oct. 1998. More than 200 delegates from 20 countries
will be participating in this event during this
International Year of the Ocean.
To commemorate this occasion we would be bringing out OCEAN IT CDROM. This CDROM aim at disseminating software's, programs, packages and demo versions of databases related to oceanography and maritime activities to the community concerned. If your are author, developer or distributor of one of such shareware, freeware, costware package, we would appreciate receiving your cooperation. We would be glad to include your package in OCEAN IT CDROM. If you are user and aware of any such packages do let us know the details so that we can obtain the same. More details about Ocean IT CDROM and ITO 98 can be had from web sites listed below :

As part of ITO 98 we would also be hosting exhibition of Ocean IT industry
