World Oceans Day Event, Swansea, South Wales

The Environment Centre Swansea in partnership with Howie Watkins of BBC’s Really Wild Show and The Body Shop Swansea present World Oceans Weekend 2000. A weekend of free, fun activities for all the family on June 10th and June 11th.

Saturday June 10th 11am – 3pm at the Environment Centre, Swansea

Net and fish trap making with Howie Watkins (ready for rockpooling on Sunday), discover Captain Bob’s Sea Challenge and fish around on the Internet.

Sunday June 11th  12 noon – 5pm at Port Eynon Beach, Gower, Swansea

An afternoon of family activities on the beach at Port Eynon.

12 noon  Paint a Sea Mural with The Body Shop Swansea
1pm  Fun with Howie Watkins on the beach
2pm  Paint a Sea Mural with The Body Shop Swansea
3pm  Rock pool safaris along the beach with Howie
 
 
 

A free bus leaves the Environment Centre at 11am on Sunday returning from Port Eynon at 5pm. Seats must be booked in advance. Call (01792) 480200
