The Civic Centre car park in Ham Road will be available as usual for exhibitors and visitors to park. No fees charged.

The car park is marked in red and the best walking route in red. To avoid the Farmer's Market go through the churchyard and head south. The journey should take 12 minutes walking.

The car route is to turn north from the A259 Brighton Road at the Civic Centre traffic lights (leads to Eastern Avenue) and then first left and the car park is signposted almost immediately on the right.

Tarmount Lane and Shoreham Centre (=Pond Road) car parks are pay and display and also Beach Green Shoreham Beach (Shuttle bus in operation from outside Atlantic Court opposite former footbridge). Middle Street is a short stay only car park. For some reason disabled parking (Blue Badge) is limited to 4 hours in the town car parks.

Tarmount Lane, Middle Street (short stay) and Pond Road are in short walking distance (5 minutes) of the town centre.
I think Tarmount Lane might be the best by a short straw.

The new swing bridge will open in 2014.

Using the yellow route on StreetMap, avoids the busy High Street, but encounters a railway level crossing.

Parking and unloading for Adur World Oceans Day

Participants can unload on Coronation Green on the day before (7 June 2013) including early evening. There is over night security and this choice is highly recommended.
On the day itself, all vehicles must be off site (off Coronation Green) between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. There is a special dispensation for Len Nevell as a disabled driver.
