Shorewatch is the name of the monthly or bi-monthly Newsletter that will
be sent to members for 1997 et seq. The Newsletter will contain all the
latest news, details of Field Trips to the shore, Seminars, and Exhibitions.
The Newsletter will also include details of the latest marine wildlife
observations and rarities. Rarities will also be published on one of the
web sites.

Shorewatch is also the name of the scheme whereby marine wildlife enthusiasts
can send in reports of their marine wildlife reports from Rockpooling
Expeditions and Diving Trips in the seas around the British Isles. The
information is likely to be published in Glaucus, the Shorewatch
Newsletter, in Torpedo and included on the World Wide Web sites. Already,
reports of animals previously unknown in British seas have been discovered.
Help is also available on difficult identifications. Reports are usually
verified, and further information is available for biological recorders
and other experts.

Shore Watch is also the name of the regular column
that Andy Horton (Editor of Glaucus) writes
for the 'Aquarist
& Pondkeeper' colour magazine about British shore life.
This monthly magazine is published monthly and available in all good newsagents.
