Two
Swifts
swivelled and dived over the middle slopes of Mill
Hill.
Common
Broomrapes
The
small
Common Broomrapes seen
in Frampton's Field yesterday were so faraway I returned
with a long lens, but I still found them difficult to focus on amongst
the ungrazed vegetation. On the southern bank of the Mill
Hill Cutting I trampled some Cotoneaster,
and found hundreds more Common Spotted
Orchids.
